The Recovery Expedition (Eternal Media)

12 minutes

Sam, the editor of the documentary, wanted to share a few words about his experience working on this incredible project: "From the very beginning, 'The Recovery Expedition' has been a labour of love for all of us here at Eternal.

Despite not receiving any funding, we were driven by our passion to bring this powerful story to life. Working on this documentary has been an exhilarating journey for me. From the moment we picked up our cameras, I felt privileged to work closely with the amazing individuals from North Wales Recovery Communities (NWRC). Their unwavering determination and inspiring stories captivated us, and we knew we had to share their journey with the world. Plus, taking part in their activities was an absolute blast!

Receiving the news that our documentary was awarded Best Welsh Documentary Short at Focus Wales 2023 filled me with pure joy. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. We are incredibly proud to have our collective efforts acknowledged. All of us at Eternal would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the people of North Wales Recovery Communities for entrusting us with their stories. We hope that you enjoy watching the film as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Thank you!

" Please share this to help make recovery more visible in our communities "

Trails Of Recovery (Eternal Media)

10 minutes

Eternal Media went on a 100 mile walk around the coast of Anglesey, following Penrhyn House doing their walk for Recovery! Walking and filming for a week straight was knackering but it was so fun to meet everyone participating and learn their stories.

We put together this movie to document their story and struggle with addiction and how they overcame it!

This film was shot over 7 days and 100 miles around Anglesey’s coastal path to celebrate and make Recovery more visible in September - (Recovery month).

Sobri (ITV/S4C)

48 minutes

A documentary following the journey of a young man from Anglesey as he attempts to turn his back on alcohol and drug dependency at the Ty Penrhyn Recovery Community in Bangor
